Upper Mission is a hillside neighbourhood located south of Lower Mission in Kelowna. Known for its elevated position above Okanagan Lake, the area is recognized for newer residential developments, panoramic views, and quiet suburban streets.
Most homes in Upper Mission are located within planned residential communities built along the hillside. The neighbourhood has grown steadily over the past two decades as new subdivisions and residential projects have expanded further up the slopes above Lakeshore Road. Because of the elevation, many properties offer views of Okanagan Lake, the city, and surrounding mountains.
Upper Mission is also home to several parks, trail networks, and schools, making it a popular area for full-time residents looking for newer homes and a quieter setting away from the downtown core. Despite the hillside setting, residents still maintain convenient access to Lower Mission amenities, beaches, shopping areas, and recreation facilities.
