One of my favourite stores to shop at is Lakeview Market (established in 1946) in Pandosy Village. They offer lots of local produce and other offerings from Okanagan companies.
Located south of Highway 97 (Harvey Avenue), north of K.L.O. Road and West of Gordon Road to the Lake, the Kelowna South neighbourhood is appealing to those who want to be close to Downtown Kelowna, shopping centres, and have easy access to the Lake and beaches. In many ways, Kelowna South is the Kitsilano of Kelowna...
Kelowna South has a vast mix of local businesses including shops, restaurants and recreational facilities. One of my favourite stores to shop at is Lakeview Market (established in 1946) in Pandosy Village. They offer lots of local produce and other offerings from Okanagan companies. If you get a chance to stop in, have a look and check out their historic timeline laid out on the wall of their parking lot.
The largest hospital in the Interior is found in Kelowna South. Kelowna General Hospital (KGH) provides great care to Kelowna residents, with many doctors, nurses and supporting staff residing in the area. This makes the neighbourhood great for investors looking for good tenants and a strong long term investment.
Kelowna's Abbott Street Heritage District is also located within the boundaries of Kelowna South. Along Abbott Street you'll find many tributary plaques telling the story of the property's Kelowna Heritage and importance to the city of Kelowna.
